My husband and I have been to many weddings where the stereotypical, cheesy DJ kills the good time. For this reason we were extremely hesitant to get a DJ for our wedding. Funny enough...we couldn't have been happier with High Mountain Music. It was a huge relief to know that you would be handling all of the details and managing the flow of the reception (speeches, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss). Besides it being stress free, our goal was simply to have everyone that we loved dancing and partying up till the wee hours. Everyone of all ages was dancing till the end! By the way, thank you for extending and playing the extra 2 hours! We couldn't have wished for anything more. I would highly recommend High Mountain Music to any DJ skeptics! :)

We have a Ski Patrol Banquet every year at Brighton. In the past we have hired bands to play at our banquets and most of the time nobody stayed around until the end. In 2005, we chose to hire High Mountain Music mobile DJs, we had the best turn out of all of our previous banquets. Everyone just loved having a DJ over a band. High Mountain Music did an excellent job, and we have hired them to do our year end parties every year since thru 2010 and will continue to do so into the future.

I recently used High Mountain Music at my in home Christmas Party. My guests and I enjoyed the show tremendously. It was excellent. I was impressed that the DJ was able to play all of the songs that got requested, including some that I had never heard of. Our DJ played music that got people out on the dance floor, which I really liked. They put on a truly professional show. I liked the fact that they were willing and able to set up in my garage and make adjustments to the sound levels throughout the evening. The music filled the space perfectly but did not overwhelm the rest of the party going on in my house. When my guests were begging for more at the end of the evening, I knew I had made the right decision in hiring High Mountain Music for my party. We recently hired High Mountain Music as the DJ's for our wedding. I met with Jeff on a couple of occasions prior to the wedding and had many telephone conversations to plan and perfect my wedding day wishes. My mom had her ideas and I had mine, Jeff was great with combining them and mostly using my ideas.
My husband and I had all sorts of different music we wanted played, if there was a song Jeff did not already have, he went out and found it for me.
At the wedding Jeff consulted with my mother when I was busy, to see if all the plans were still a go, he also got my attention for a split second to confirm that we were ready for each of the formalities before they occurred.

I have been to many weddings where I have been bored out of my mind because the DJ is lame or just not very professional. High Mountain Music was the total opposite of that. I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding either. The music was great, the announcements were professional, everything was wonderful. My daughter got married at Deer Valley Lodge at Silver Lake in Park City, UT. We hired High Mountain Music to do the music. They arrived on time and played some wonderfully enjoyable music during the social hour and dinner that got the evening off to a really nice start. Immediately following dinner, after the bride and groom danced, they got the party started with music that really got everyone out of their seats. The dance floor was full from that point on, until we had to close at 11:30. After everyone left, he even played a few more songs for the staff to clean up to. He made the party so much fun because everyone was up dancing together, in circles, in lines, around tables and those sitting were tapping their foot. We have used High Mountain Music, for three consecutive years to provide the music entertainment for both our mid-season Winter Parties and our End of Season Parties here at Deer Valley. Our employees range in age from 18 to 80 and are from very diverse backgrounds ranging from local Utahans to over 60 different countries. The DJ's always play a great mix of music that appeal to everyone, keeping everyone dancing and they always take requests.
